Our Online Booking feature uses an algorithm which groups appointments together, so we only show available slots that are next - or between - other appointments, making sure to maximise your appointment books. We have also designed a setting that intelligently matches the treatment that a patient is seeking to the practitioners which provide it, as well as the minimum duration for that appointment. This is useful if you have one or more practitioners which do/do not provide a particular service. You can customise and manage these settings easily. This article will outline how you can:
Configure the calendar settings
- In Calendar Setup, find the calendar which you wish to customise, click on More and then click Calendar setting.
- Select the field which you wish to customise, and then click Save Changes.
a) Open: the number of days visible in your Online Booking calendar.
b) Slots: the maximum number of vacancies which the patient can see for each half of the day (AM or PM).
c) Notice: the minimum length of time in advance which a patient can make a booking online.
d) Cancel: the minimum length of time allowed for a patient to cancel their online booking.
Manage your calendar services
- Find the calendar which you wish to customise, click on More and then click Manage services.
- Click on Activate.
This will only appear if this is the first time that you have accessed this feature. - Select or deselect the services that you wish to be linked with this practitioner.
a) Estimate: the minimum appointment duration.
b) Internal: toggle whether the service can be selected by a user from your normal Core Practice calendar.
c) Online: toggle whether the service can be selected by a patient from your online Core Practice calendar.
