Overview
Core Practice uses a unique workflow for your recalls. Where traditional software may base their recalls on a date, Core Practice uses treatment codes in order to generate a recall batch. This opens the possibilities in terms of recalls, and extends beyond the typical "6 monthly Scale/Clean" recall. This article will outline how to:
Create a Campaign
A campaign is the marketing template, allowing you to configure it based on treatments, time frames and locations.
- Click on Marketing and then click Campaigns.
- Click on Create Campaign Classic.
- Give your campaign a Name and select a Type. You may also enter a description of what the campaign is about.
As you can see from the Type, the Auto and Manual type of triggers are quite important here. Our recall system is based on treatment codes, rather than a recall date. Instead of setting a recall date - which may not always be set correctly by some users - we have actually used treatment codes as the driving factor in recalls. This ensures that patients' recalls are not missed and are always accounted for (unless the items are not entered in the patient's Treatment section).
- Under Procedure criteria, you may enter the Interval period and include the item number(s) under Procedures.
- Next, move on to Patient criteria tab and enter details for the targeted patients for the campaign.
- And finally, the Advance tab lets you enter details such as Locations, Exclude procedures and setting for your Preferred sending method. Once you are happy with all the details entered, click Save Changes.
Create a Run
A run is a recall batch using that particular campaign template.
- Click on Marketing and then click Campaigns.
- Click on the Campaign you wish to use.
- Click on New Run.
- Confirm the Campaign date, Campaign period and then click Next.
The "Campaign Period" is the date range for which you wish to generate a batch i.e. the date range that Core Practice will search for the selected "trigger and excluded treatments". This will be automatically selected for you, based on the "trigger period" that you have set in your campaign.
- Click on Create Batch.
You're done! Now a list is generated and you may choose to send your patients a bulk SMS, Email or call them individually.
