Overview
A targeted re-call list for patients with specific health funds to remind them that dental benefits reset on January 1st. This campaign identifies active members with remaining 2025 rebates to encourage end-of-year bookings.
Steps
Create the Campaign Template
Navigate to the Marketing tab and select Campaigns.
Click Create Classic Campaign.
Configure the Campaign Details:
Name: e.g., 2025 Health Fund Benefit Reminder.
Description: Targeting patients with specific funds to remind them of year-end benefit expiry. (Optional)
Type: Select Simple Query.
Set Patient Criteria:
Health Funds Box: Tick the Health funds box and type the name of the specific fund (e.g., Bupa, Medibank, HBF) and select it. You can add multiple funds here.
Filter: Ensure the toggle on the far right is set to "Include".
Contact & Receive: Usually, you should tick "Email" or "Mobile" to ensure you only pull patients you can actually contact.
Click Save Changes.
Running and Filtering the List
Open your newly created Health Fund Benefit Reminder campaign.
Click New Run at the top right.
Set the Date range.
Select any range as it will display all patients in the system regardless of the period selected.
Click Run.
Sending the Communication
Once the list is generated, you can click Communicate to send a bulk Email or SMS directly from the campaign results.
Sample Message Idea:
"Hi [Patient Name], don't forget that most dental insurance benefits reset on January 1st! Book your appointment at [Practice Name] before Dec 31st to make the most of your 2025 coverage. Call us at [Phone Number] or book online."
