Overview

Core Practice allows you to create and save a patient without needing to create an appointment.

This is useful for practices that want to:

• Pre-create patient records
• Add walk-in patients
• Prepare records for future bookings
• Save patient information ahead of time

Steps

1. Go to the Appointment Book, then click Select Patient

This will open the patient search window.

2. Click New Patient

A blank patient profile form will appear.

3. Enter the patient details

It is recommended to include:

• Patient First Name
• Patient Last Name
• Date of birth
• Mobile number or contact details

4. Click Create Patient

The patient profile will now be saved in Core Practice.

Important Information

• Saving a patient information will not automatically create an appointment.
• Appointments can be booked separately at a later time.
• Core Practice may prompt you to complete mandatory fields before saving the patient profile.
