Overview
If you see the “Calendar Key should be unique” error when creating or updating a calendar, it means the calendar’s URL Alias is already being used by another calendar.
Why Does This Happen?
Every calendar in Core Practice required a unique URL Alias (Calendar Key).
This error occurs when the same URL Alias has been assigned to multiple locations and the same URL Alias is used across their calendars.
Steps to Fix the Error
- Go to Appointment Book
- Click More and select Calendar Setup
- Locate the affected provider’s calendar, click the three dots next to their name, then select Calendar Settings
- Locate the URL Alias field
- Update the URL Alias so it is unique
- Scroll down then click Save Changes
Additional Information
Each calendar must have its own unique URL Alias. Once the URL Alias has been updated to a unique value, the calendar can be saved successfully.
