How do I change provider or location for planned treatments?

Overview

When a provider works in multiple clinics, they may have prepared a treatment plan for one of their patients in one location and have provided treatment in another location. This may cause confusion when completing the treatment plan, as the treatment will be planned with the provider in another location and will not reconcile in the daily reports. This method will teach you how to duplicate the treatment plan, but create it with the updated location and/or provider. Here's how to do it.

Steps

1. Click on Plan from the patient's profile.                                                                                                    
   
   
   
   
2. Click on Create Plan.                                                                                                                                      
         
   Make a note of the name of the treatment plan which needs to be duplicated. Also, note that this plan has been created by Dr. Jones in ACME Dental Clinic.
   
   
3. Select the updated Location (1) and the correct Source Plan (2). You will need to make two selections; (a) Copy items from previous plan and (b) Incompleted Treatments. Once done, make sure to click on Create plan. 
                                                                                                                                                                   
   
   
   
4. The plan will have been duplicated and the treatments now have the correct location.
