Two-way email communication is not yet supported by Core Practice resulting patients unable to reply back to the appointment notification email. Nonetheless, you can setup an email address for a specific location so whenever a patient replies to the appointment email notification, it gets redirected to your location email address.
Note: This feature is also relevant when sending invoices and treatment plans.
- From the Cog, click on Locations.
- Select the Location that you wish the email address to be setup with.
- Enter the email address.
- Finally, hit Save Changes.
Below is an illustration of the appointment notification email when it's being sent out. Patients can click the reply icon and it will automatically change the email address to your location email.
Even though patients are receiving through firstname.lastname@example.org, once they have clicked the reply icon the patient's reply will be forwarded to your location email address e.g. email@example.com.
