The location details will only work by sending it through the calendar / appointment page, which won't work if send through a patient's profile (as patient profiles are not assigned to any location). As our example below, I would need to send an SMS manually to a patient and will be using my preferred SMS template which includes the location details.
1. Go to the patient's appointment and click the Send icon.
2. Click SMS Chat and select the SMS template that you wish to use.
3. Finally, hit Save Changes.
Here is an illustration if the SMS was sent through the patient's profile.
Here is an illustration if the Email was sent through the patient's profile.
That would only mean that the patient is not bound to a location and would highly suggest to send it through the appointments.
