Overview
When starting treatments to a patient, it should go by default to the owner of the calendar.
However, there are instances where treatments may be directed to a different provider. In such cases, the following steps can be taken to address the issue:
Check the Calendar Template
1. On the Appointment book, click More and go to Calendar Setup.
2. Select the 3 dots on the side of the provider's name and select Edit Template.
3. Click on the the schedule and check if the correct provider is added.
In the example above, the calendar is for Dr. Brown Smith but the provider assigned to the schedule is Adrian McCloud.
4. Since the provide is incorrect, kindly click on Delete and add the schedule again by clicking the plus icon.
One time availability
Another case to look for is when a one time availability is being created. This is a schedule that is different from the usual template. There are instances wherein a different provider was being selected when the availability is being created, resulting for the treatment to go to that chosen provider.
Steps
1. On the Calendar Setup, tick the box on the side of the calendar name.
2. Select the Availability and click on Edit.
3. In the sample scenario below, Dr. ABC, Test is being assigned to Dr. Sally's one time availability.
5. Simply choose the correct provider on the drop down list and hit on Save Changes.
The treatments should now default to the correct provider.
