Online Booking
Hi Team,
Re: online booking. When a patient books in online, could there be a feature to not have to approve the booking from the reception team end.
Understandable for this to be an option. But for instance in my circumstance as a Hygienist, the appointments are pretty straight forward
The patient receives a booking confirmation anyway.
Secondly- regarding patient confirmation. Either can we remove this feature- if we do have to approve the appointment, can patients not recieve a confirmation until we have done so. And/Or, the current confirmation patients do receive when booking online states 'Dentist Appointment Confirmation'. Just as a legality, it has to be clear which type of clinician a patient is seeing. A Hygienist can't work under a 'Dentist' status.
Could we either tailor the appointment confirmations to each clinician, or just remove the clinicians title and say 'Appointment Confirmation'.
But this just goes back to removing that feature. Or even better, the reception being able to tailer the template to the confirmation booking. Rather than having to manually doing this after confirming. Its takes out a lot of stages.
Again, understand this is way more technical than it seems, but would really appreciate this. Especially when I don't have a reception team.
