    Hi Team Prospective Smiles,

Thank you for reaching out to our forum.

Currently, patient records can only be exported with treatment notes included, as they are essential for legal compliance, continuity of care, and effective communication

    •  To better understand your needs, could you let us know why having the option to hide treatment notes would be beneficial?
    • Are there any specific situation wherein hiding the dentist notes is applicable?
    • What is the purpose of exporting treatment codes in the patient profile?

It would be helpful to learn more about the specific scenarios where this feature would be used and how it could support your clinic’s workflow or enhance the experience for your patients.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Apologies Prospective Smiles Team for jumping in.

    Hi Shiela,

To better understand your needs, could you let us know why having the option to hide treatment notes would be beneficial? As far as I am aware Treatment Notes are Confidential and the Intellectual property of the Provider, Dentists are under no obligation to release Treatment Notes during Records Transfers between Dental Practices. Furthermore, Record Transfers happen to often to ask practices using your software to “do it manually via an external application like PDF editor.”

Are there any specific situation wherein hiding the dentist notes is applicable? Critical to the Transfer of Dental Records.

What is the purpose of exporting treatment codes in the patient profile? Show treatment completed on a patient in a format that can be shared with another practice.

    Kind regards,
