Requesting if we can can create another Steri log where these boxes are not compulsory and the batch number and cycles can be still entered as legally required, in a text box below. This is requested by one of our client from Treanscend Dental Care

  Currently, both the Barcode and Cycle Number fields are set as required in Core Practice, as they play a key role in tracking and identifying sterilisation details.

  To better understand your request, we’d appreciate it if you could share a bit more context around your use case:

  • What is the intended purpose of entering the Barcode and Cycle Number into a text box?
  • Are you planning to use barcodes generated by Core Practice, or are these external barcodes?
  • What challenges are you currently facing with the required fields?
  • Would making these fields optional provides efficiency in recording Sterilisation logs?
