Charting: Ability to chart supernumerary teeth
It would be good to be able to chart supernumerary teeth within Core Practice.
We are looking for suggestions on how to chart this.
One suggestion is to have the quadrant number followed by the letter S - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 also denoting if a permanent or deciduous supernumerary.
This needs to be investigated with health funds and how'd they itemise these treatments.
Any suggestions would be good.

I have never seen any great way to chart supernumerary teeth, either on paper or digitally. When we were paper charting I think we used an arrow or a line to show where the supernumerary lay (between the existing teeth) and maybe used an S or 'super' to indicate supernumerary. I like the quadrant number idea + an S.
I have no idea how you can bill this to the health funds tho
