Feature Request: Truely automatic 1-touch recall

It has become apparent that I have been misusing the manual patient recall that is accessed from the patient's name drop down menu. It appears as though the system would automatically send a recall notice on the date set, but i've since found that is not the case.

What I would like to have is a feature where at the end of a patient's check up I can set a recall date in the future that will automatically be sent on the prescribed date without any further input.

If I understand the current situation, the manual recall feature only populates a list, and the list has to be actioned manually for the recall to be sent

  I cannot make heads or tails of the recall system and can only be grateful that my receptionist has worked it out. But it doesn't make sense to me. I would like to be able to select RECALL 6, 9, 12 etc at the end of an appointment and know that someone will be notified of the need to book an appointment
