Text formatting for Patient Alerts

I'd like to format the text in patient alerts, allowing for carriage returns. Currently alerts are displayed as a single line of text that wraps around within the alert box. Carriage returns added when creating or editing the alert are ignored and not displayed. 

Sometimes lengthy patient alerts are necessary and would benefit from better structure like paragraphs. This feels easy to fix, you just need the patient alert feature to recognise carriage returns, thanks!
