We have established a process where, once each sterilization cycle is complete, staff must take a photo and upload it to Core Practice. This allows the auditing team to efficiently review records and helps mitigate risks, such as "instruments processed in the wrong cycle" or "failure to run the morning test cycle." These errors can lead to infection control breaches and compromise the validation of instruments used on patients. Given this is part of our digital sterilization process, having photos from the autoclave as evidence in Core Practice is critical, serving as legal documentation to validate each instrument cycle.

Currently, one issue we're facing—which I requested a review of 12 months ago—is that mistakenly uploaded photos cannot be deleted by authorized personnel. Similar to creating, testing, or adjusting cycles, authorized staff should have the ability to delete erroneous records, with the history still retained for transparency.
