Improved Large PDF Exports

Overview

Core Practice has improved how large PDF exports are handled in Reporting to reduce server load and prevent export failures.

Previously, exporting a report with a large number of records could result in a 500 error. With this update, Core Practice will check the report size before the export begins.

What happens when the report exceeds the limit?

PDF exports are limited to 10,000 records.

When a report contains more than 10,000 records:

• The PDF button will be greyed out.
• A message will advise that the report exceeds the export limit.
• The export will not begin, helping prevent a failed download.

How to export the report

Reduce the report to 10,000 records or fewer by:

• Selecting a shorter date range.
• Applying additional filters.
• Exporting the report in smaller batches.

Once the report is within the supported limit, the PDF button will become available again.
