Overview
If you have created a treatment plan by mistake or no longer need it, you can delete or archive it depending on its status.
- Delete allows you to remove a treatment plan when the option is available.
- Archive marks the plan as inactive while keeping it in the patient’s record for reference.
Please note: Archiving does not hide the treatment plan. It remains visible with an archived indicator.
When can I delete or archive a treatment plan?
Check the treatment plan’s current status to determine which option is available.
| Treatment plan status | Available option |
| Proposed | Delete |
| Accepted | Archive appears first. After archiving the plan, Delete becomes available. |
| In progress | Archive — deletion is not available |

Frequently asked questions
Can I hide an archived treatment plan?
There is currently no option to hide an archived treatment plan completely from the patient’s profile. Archiving keeps the record visible and identifies it as no longer active.
What if I accidentally accepted the treatment plan?
Check the plan's current status. If it is still Accepted and Delete is available, follow the deletion steps above. If it is In progress, use Archive instead.
Why is my treatment plan still visible after archiving?
This is expected. Archiving changes the plan’s status while keeping the record available for reference. Seeing the archived indicator confirms that the plan has been archived.
