Adding a location IP address

What is an IP address?

An IP address is assigned by your internet provider. Most business internet has a "Static" IP address. When a device is assigned a Static IP address, the address does not change. 

Some internet provider gives out "Dynamic" IP address, this means that it will change from time to time and it is not ideal to be assigned on this feature. Please consult your internet provider in regards to your IP address settings.

Adding a Location IP address

In order to use the Location Restriction feature, you must first link your IP address to your Core Practice location. Here's how you can set it up: 

1. Click on Settings (cog icon on the top right) and select Location.
   
   
2. Select the Location you wish to add an IP address for.
   
   
3. Scroll down and find IP addresses and enter the IP address(es). Commas can be used to separate a list of IP addresses. Once you are done, click Save Changes at the bottom.
