Quick Notes for non-coded items
AnsweredHi
I would like to be able to use Quick Notes for non-coded/billable items. For items like a crown fit, denture adjustment or suture removal where there is no code I would like to include Quick Notes within the treatment notes. This lets me produce my own templates for the notes for these items and hence make the notes better. At the moment I am having to use the comments facility.
Talking about comments - coulkd they be editable please (audit tracked as well obviously).
Thanks!

Hi Tony,
Thanks for reaching out with a request! We have two options to support this:
- You could either click on the original treatment and simply add a new note. I'll link you to an article on how to view existing notes and add a new note. Or;
- Create a new item in your Item Catalogue for tracking notes. You can configure it to not appear on invoices, and other toggles. I'll link you to an article on how to create a new item in your item catalogue.
Do either of these options support what you're looking to implement? Any insight would be great. Thanks as always!
P.S.: We definitely want to make comments editable; I'll link you to our feature request post for that suggestion.
