Feature Request: A more powerful word processor for all parts of Core Practice
A better ability to use a word processor for all of core practice would be great. I would love to see this especially in Letters, Templates, Emails for treatment plans and referrals, and in patient note/quick notes.
Things like:
- Bullet points
- Bold
- Italics
- Ability to insert a picture into the email or letter not just a web link...
- Added to this I would love to see the ability to make templates for the emails sent for referrals and treatment plans. I have been requesting this one since we started with core practice.

Hi David,
Thanks for your suggestion!Apologies that this may be taking a while for us to prioritise. I assume that having these extra formats will increase the level of professionalism of your referral letters and emails to clients?
Do you currently use another system to send out official documents since this is currently not part of Core Practice right now?

Hi Warren,
No we still use core practice but our old practice management software was much better at doing this. Core practice is a bit lacking in elegance with this side of things. Especially with emails we have to just manually type in the email every time which is extremely time consuming and frustrating as we write quite comprehensive letters and emails to patients and referrals.
If we have to send pictures or other files we just send them a google drive link but it would be great to have either google drive integration or a simple way to attach pictures of files to the emails.

Thanks for clarifying, David.
I think that our emailing and letter system can definitely be improved. We need to work out a way on how to best improve it. Do you have any good examples to share with me?
If you want to send me a picture or examples you worked with that you found good - warren.y@corepractice.com.au
Great suggestion, I think we definitely can do better on this one as well. This ties in quite well with another feature request - Instant Messaging. it's a little far fetched, but it'll allow you to send rich content to patients, contacts etc.Regards,
Warren
