Refresh appointment book content automatically

Just a small usability thought. Could you force an appointment book refresh whenever the book changes? It updates when a patient status such as arrived, checked-in etc changes but workstations have to refresh to see any newly entered or changed appointments.

  Happy New Year! Apologies for the delays in replying to your post. 

  I agree with you here, there should be a function within the appointment book which will automatically refresh the appointment book especially when there is a change within the appointment book. 

  Let me bring it up with the team and see if we can put this into our updates after the security upgrade.

  Hi Warren - as another thought - currently accessing the appointment book takes a mouse click, a mouse scroll and then another mouse click.

  I think accessing the appointment book warrants it's own dedicated button on the menu bar - the Calendar Setup link can be relegated to the Settings tab.

  Even better would be if the new dedicated Appointment Book button could toggle back to the previous place so that when I'm in a patient record I can flick straight to the book and then straight back to the same place I was in the patient record.
