How to Use the Appointment Creation Report

Overview

The Appointment Creation Report provides an overview of appointments created across your calendar locations. It can help you review appointment activity overtime and compare appointment creation and between the current and previous month

The report includes information such as:

Total appointments created
Appointments created through Online Bookings
Reappointments
Total patients and new patients
Average appointment duration
Total hours booked
Average hours booked per day

Access the Appointment Creation Report

Go to the Reports tab.
Select a report category to open the Reports dashboard.
Select Appointment Creation Report.

The Appointments Timeline provides a visual comparison of appointment activity between the selected month and the previous month.

Use the following options to adjust the information displayed:

Calendar

Select the month you want to review.

Appointment Category

Choose which appointments to include:

All - displays all appointments created during the selected month, including appointments created through Online Bookings.
Online - displays only appointments created through Online Bookings.

Legend

This Month - the light blue line represents daily appointment activity for the selected month.
Last Month - the grey line represents daily appointment activity for previous month.

Understand the report metrics

Below the Appointments Timeline, you can review a summary of appointment activity for the selected location.

Metric	Description
Calendars	The total number of provider calendars for the location
Appointments	The total number of appointments created, including cancelled appointments
Online	The total number of appointments created through Online Booking
Reappointment	The number of appointments created on the same day the patient attended an appointments
Patients	The total number of patients associated with the appointments, including those with cancelled appointments.
New Patients	The total number of new patients, including those with cancelled appointments
Average Duration	The average appointment duration in minutes
Hours Booked	The total number of appointment hours booked
Average Daily	The average number of hours booked per day.

The report also displays the Total Average of Appointments Booked Daily.

View appointment data by provider

By default, the report displays appointment data by location.

To view the appointment data for individual providers, click the relevant calendar location in the report.

You can then review the appointment for the providers associated with that location.
