Overview
You can track appointments associated with a recall campaign using the Description automatically added to matching bookings. Export the appointment report to Excel and filter this description to review the patients who booked.
Steps
1. Select the campaign’s appointment reason
When setting up your recall campaign, select the relevant appointment reason and save your changes.
For campaign setup instructions, see How to Create and Run a Marketing Campaign.
2. Use the same appointment reason when booking
When a patient receives the campaign and subsequently book an appointment using the same appointment reason, Core Practice automatically adds a Description to the appointment.
3. Export and filter the report
- Open Appointment Details Report and run the report for the period you want to review.
- Expert the report to Excel.
- Open the downloaded file and find the Description column.
- Filter the column to show the automatically added description displayed on the matching appointments.
The filtered results help you identify the appointments and patients associated with the campaign.
Tip: If you are counting patients, count each patient once, even if they have multiple appointments in the filtered results.
Things to keep in mind
- The appointment reason must match the reason selected in the campaign for the automatic description to be added.
- Recall Audit logs can show patients with upcoming appointments, but an upcoming appointment alone does not confirm that it resulted from a recall campaign.
