How to activate Stripe in Core Practice

Connect Stripe to Core Practice to collect deposits or full payments when patients book appointments online.

Activate Stripe

1. Click the cog icon, then select Settings.
   
   
    
2. Under Integrations, click Core Practice Apps.
   
   
    
3. Click Open Marketplace in the top-right corner.
   
   
    
4. Find Stripe and click Learn More.
   
   
5. Click Install Stripe.
   
   
    
6. When you are redirected to Core Practice, click Install again to complete the installation.

Set up online payments for services

Once Stripe is installed, enable online payments for services that require a deposit or full payment

1. Click the cog icon, then select Settings.
   
   
    
2. Under Appointments, click Services.
   
   
    
3. Select the service you want to update.
4. Set Online Payment to Yes.
5. Under Online Payment Type, select Partial Payment or Full Payment. Enter the payment amount and select the prepayment item.
6. Click Save Changes.
   
   

Patients booking this service online will be prompted to pay the configured amount. This applies to both new and existing patients.
