Whenever a provider is parting ways with the practice for good, we want to make sure all aspects have been taken care of from the user's access, to their account settings.
Few things to consider when a provider leaves the practice:
Reschedule all appointments
Running an appointment details report for future years ahead will help you prevent any missed appointments in case a Provider leaves the clinic.
Simply go to Report Tab, select Appointment Details Report, filter the date range to a couple of years ahead and hit Run Report.
Delete the User login.
Click on Cog button and then select User. Beside the Username click on the red bin button to Delete the user login.
Archived the Provider's Profile.
Simply click on the Providers Tab, select the Provider Name, change the status to Archived, and hit Save changes.
(For reporting purposes, simply archived the provider's profile, so you can always reinstate the account by simply changing the status back to Active if needed.)
Change Calendar Setup
A. Disable Calendar
Go to Calendar Setup, click the 3 dots next to the Provider and select Disable Calendar.
(You can always re-activate the calendar for missed rescheduled appointments).
B. Re-enable Calendar
If needed to, you can always re-activate the calendar with the following steps:
Go to Calendar Setup, click on the "Eye Icon" to toggle inactive calendars. Click on the 3 dots next to the Provider's name and select Enable Calendar.
Archived Business Account
Go to Cog button, click on Settings then select Businesses. Choose the Business Name, change the status to Archived, and Save Changes.
(For reporting purposes, simply archived the business, so you can always reinstate the account by simply changing the status back to Active if needed.)
