Outbound emails
I have requested this before and will say again. It is vital to be able to track and check emails SENT to clients through core practice including quotes, letters, referrals etc. This should be visible in the audit log and the content and attachments of these emails need to be able to be seen or have a link available to them in the clients notes. An automatic note should be made of emails sent. Correspondence to clients in a profession can have legal implications and must be able to be seen and retrieved at a later date.

This is very important as sometimes patients forget that they deleted the estimate/ quote emails and having a time stamped email on our end can help de-escalate the situation or defuse it before it reaches a point where we may lose a loyal patient. It is also important that we be able to track the referrals that we send to specialists, just in case they haven't received it and we can check our outbox if it is still sitting in there.
