How to Integrate DS Core in Core Practice

Overview

The DS Core integration connects your DS Core account to Core Practice. This article explains how to install the DS Core app, authorize the connection, and confirm that the integration has been set up successfully.

Before you Begin

Make sure you:

• Have an active DS Core account
• Have the sign-in details for your DS Core account

Steps

Step 1: Install the DS Core App

1. Click the cog icon and select Settings.
   
   
    
2. Under Integrations, click Core Practice Apps.
   
   
    
3. In the top-right corner, click Open Marketplace.
   
   
    
4. A marketplace window will open, find DS Core in the list of available apps.
   
   
    
5. Click Install DS Core.
   
   
    
6. You will be redirected to Core Practice. Click Install to continue.
   
   

Step 2: Connect and authorize your DS Core account

After clicking Install, a new window will open on the DS Core website.

1. Select the correct location
2. Enter your DS Core sign-in details.
   
   
    
3. Follow the prompts to review and authorize the connection.
4. Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected to Core Practice.

The DS Core app page in core practice should confirm that the integration has been installed and connected successfully if the integration status is ‘Active’.

Confirm that the integration is complete

To check that DS Core has been fully installed and connected:

1. Open a patient profile in Core Practice.
2. Go to the Media tab.
3. Find the DS Core section on the right-hand side.

If the DS Core section is available, it has been installed and connected successfully.
