The patient arrival notification feature helps to notify calendar owners when a patient has arrived and here are the following conditions for it to work:
1. When the receptionist marks an appointment as "Patient arrived", only the Owner of the Calendar will receive the alert, make sure each calendar is assigned to its owner.
2. As long as you are on the Appointment Calendar page there should always be a pop-up message and sound alert.
3. Please also check your computer volume, speakers, etc to make sure they are turned on and working.
Note: We suggest opening two tabs on the browser and allowing one to always be on the appointment book. This should be sufficient enough for the sound and the user to work on other pages at the same time.
