Core Practice has integrated with Stripe to enable you to accept payments for appointments booked online. To learn more, visit the Stripe website.
How does the integration work?
Core Practice's integration with Stripe gives you a payment system in online appointment booking platform.
Activating Stripe
Steps
- To add the Stripe feature, click on Settings, and select the “API KEYS” at the bottom right of the screen.
- Select the Add-ons menu on the left side of the screen. Choose “Integrate with Stripe” and click Add.
- After clicking on the Add button, you will then be redirected to Stripe's site where they will ask you to sign up to connect with Core Practice.
- Once you have successfully signed up and connected your Stripe account to your Core Practice, you can go back to your Core Practice account and you will see "ACTIVE" on the add-ons screen. You are now all integrated and ready to use Stripe.
How to setup the services
Once you are done with activating Stripe to Core Practice, the next step would be setting up the services. This step is essential because this is where you can manage the different services that you wanted to offer online to reduce FTA (Fail to Attend) rate and increase your Online Booking usage by offering more services online e.g. Whitening etc.
Follow the steps below:
- From the cog button, click on Settings.
- Under Appointments, go to Services.
- Choose a service and set the Online Payment to "Yes".
- Select Partial Payment or Full Payment under the Online Payment Type. Enter the prepayment/deposit amount that you wish to charge the patient with and select a prepayment item. Once all done, hit Save Changes.
- When a specific service is selected on your Online Booking website, it will require a deposit/prepayment for booking now.
NOTE: This feature is applicable both for new and existing patients.
