Overview
The scanner, X-rays, camera, software, and sensors can all be integrated with Core Practice to enhance your workflow and improve efficiency. Before reaching out to support to schedule your integration appointment, please review the checklist below. This will ensure that all necessary steps are completed and help streamline the process.
1. Check if the device's brand and model appear on the compatible hardware list. To view the list, click this link.
a. If the device is listed, proceed to the second checklist.
b. If the device is not listed, we can certainly attempt to integrate it, though we cannot guarantee that it will work perfectly with our Core Practice Media Bridge.
2. Verify that the correct device driver or TWAIN has been properly installed, and make sure they are working without Core Practice. If the driver or TWAIN are not installed, contact the device manufacturer or vendor support.
3. TeamViewer is installed to allow remote support from us. You can click here to install TeamViewer.
4. The computer that will be used with the device should have admin permissions. If not, obtain the admin login credentials. Here’s how to check admin permissions on Windows 10/11 computers:
a. Open Settings: Press Win + I
.
b. Go to Accounts: Select Accounts > Your Info.
c. Under your name, it will show if you're an Administrator or a Standard User.
5. The Core Practice login should also have administrator access. You can check this by clicking the gear icon in the upper right and choosing Settings. Under Site Administration, you should see Integrations.
6. If the above have been checked, book an integration job with the support team, including the following details:
- Device Brand & Model, number of devices in total:
- The names and number of the PCs that need to be integrated.
- It will take approximately 20 minutes per device, per PC, for integration setup and testing.
