How to check for appointments in a hidden calendar

Overview

When a dentist has left your practice/group, you will notice that their calendar disappears from your appointment books. This is because by default, our appointment books only show dentists which have availabilities open in your practice. If there are no availabilities, then the calendar is hidden. This can sometimes cause problems, mainly with patients that have booked recalls with the dentist who has left. They will have appointments booked in, but the calendar will be hidden and therefore the appointments may be overlooked. There is a simple procedure to check these unseen appointments, and here's how to do it.

Steps

1. Click on Book (a) and select the dentist (b).
   
   
   
2. Click on List.
   
   This will generate a list of appointments for that dentist for the entire month.
   
   
3. Click on the appointment which you wish to reschedule.
   
   
   
   
4. Their patients' details will appear in the pop-up and you can contact them to reschedule.
   
   
   
5. Repeat for each month.
