Overview
You may find duplicated patient profiles from time to time. With Core Practice, you are able to simply merge these profiles into one. This allows you to keep the patient's record nice and clean.
Steps
- Select the patient profile you wish to be merged. Note that this is the profile that will be inactivated after the merge.
It is also recommended that you note down the patient's Card number for easy reference. This can be located on the patient's profile.
- Click on the patient's name and select Merge patient.
- Click Select patient.
- On this screen, a list of the same patient's name should be automatically listed. If not, search for the patient's profile, compare the card number and click on the Patient's name.
*Note that you are selecting the profile you wish to remain active.
- Confirm both profiles details. If you are happy with it, click Merge.
- Click Confirm and merge.
Done! Now the two profiles have been successfully merged into one. All important data such as appointments, invoices, treatment notes etc, are not lost but simply combined.
